Meet the team

Spencer - Company Director
Spencer set up SJ Approved Used Cars in Feb 2020 and had a goal to become one of the go to garages when searching for a quality used car, asking for advice or even just direct selling us your vehicle. With hard work determination and fantastic customer feedback they are now one of the most reputable to dealers in the local area due to their fantastic reputation.

Spencer has circa 10 years experience at main dealers around new and used cars working with the likes of Audi, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Abarth and Toyota. He had gained the experience over the years which lead him to be ' used cars sales manager and ' sales manager ' at various brands.

In 2020 when the business first opened it was a challenging time through lock down, but the company grew organically and quickly outgrown the site where it all started, We now have a new site which opened in Feb 2023 with a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Hobbies:
Spending time with his family at the weekends. Loves playing golf with friends all over as it is an area of relaxation and freedom where mobile phones don't exist.

Dream Car:
Family orientated Audi RSQ8. Selfishly Lamborghini Huracan in some form of lairy colour.

Reece - Head of sales
Probably the first voice you will here at the end of the phone and first face you will see when you visit to buy a car.

Reece first joined Sj Cars towards the back end of 2020 where he first started helping to valet the cars, the business quickly got busy, and spencer realised Reece was the right person to step up and start selling. He has a great understanding of the business and has contributed to some of the tough business decisions along the way which have helped massively.

Reece is very knowledgeable around cars and their mechanics as he was previously a mechanic for 5/6 years.

Hobbies:
Reece has various hobbies, in fact too many to write down or remember so you are best to ask him yourself upon visiting. Some of the ones that stick out to us our car track days, metal detecting, playing around with cars to make them go faster, 3D printing, Mountain biking, Motor biking, Drifting, Family time and I'm sure there is at least 30 more.

Dream Car:
E30 BMW M3 or Sierra Cosworth will do!
